Bayside is located in mid-coast Maine, about 4 miles south of Belfast and about 12 miles north of Camden. The easiest approach to the village is to take Route 1 (north from Camden or south from Belfast) and watch for Bayside Rd. to the east of Route 1. A popular landmark where Bayside Rd. meets Route 1 is Dos Amigos Mexican restaurant, which is housed in a hard-to-miss pink building. Follow Bayside Rd about 3/4 of a mile until you come to where there is a 3-way split in the road. Take a left onto Broadway. Follow Broadway about 1/4 mile until you see the Blair Agency building in the center of the village. |

If you plan to fly to the area, the closest major airport is Bangor International Airport, which is about a 1 hour drive northwest of Bayside. Alternatively, you could fly into the Portland Jetport, which is approximately a 2 hour drive south of Bayside. Boston's Logan Airport is about a 4 hour drive to the south.
Concord Trailways offers bus service to and from Boston to Bangor, with stops along the way, including Belfast.
