Bayside is located in mid-coast Maine, about 4 miles south of Belfast and about 12 miles north of Camden. The easiest approach to the village is to take Route 1 (north from Camden or south from Belfast) and watch for Bayside Road to the east of Route 1. A popular landmark where Bayside Road meets Route 1 is Dos Amigos Restaurant, which is housed in a hard-to-miss multicolored building.
Follow Bayside Road about 3/4 of a mile until you come to a 3-way split in the road. Take a left onto Broadway. Follow Broadway about 1/4 mile until you see the Blair Agency building, just up from the water atop the Village Green in the cennter of the village.
If you plan to fly to the area, the closet major airport is Bangor International Airport, which is about a 1 hour drive northwest of Bayside. Alternativley, you could fly into the Portland Jetport, which is approximately a 2 hour drive south of Bayside. Boston's Logan Airport is a 4 hour dive to the south.
Concord Trailways offers bus service to and from Boston to Bangor, with stops along the way, including Camden and Belfast.
